The Wohldorfer Wald is worth a walk. If you don't have a bike or car, get off at the Ohlstedt subway station, and you're almost there.

The nice thing about all railway cycle paths: there is much less up and down than on cycle paths along the road.

Normally, you would rather ride a "normal" bike or even a road bike here. A small change, however, if you want to ride comfortably with a gravel bike.

This is the highlight of the "Gravelautobahn Höltigbaum," a long path parallel to the main road through the forest. It's a much nicer ride than the bike path to Rahlstedt. I highly recommend it, because riding right next to the road is no fun at all! Here, however, it is.

Nice park with a gravel surface. Be careful when cornering, though. Last year, I took one too sharply and landed pretty badly on the loose gravel.
