The weir of Wickede can already be seen from the railway bridge. The bike path over the bridge leads over wooden planks and it rattles here and there.

If you don't feel like driving through Wickede/Ruhr coming from Arnsberg, turn right immediately after the bridge, cycle under the bridge and between Obergraben and the renatured Ruhr further downstream.

Is another piece of ideal world. A railway bridge without overhead lines and high-speed trains and the still young Ruhr. A nice picture.
