Pine Point Beach is a pretty beach on the northern edge of Saco Bay in Scarborough, Maine that spans the outlet of the Scarborough River. There is a wide sandy beach as well as a sensitive sand dune system. This is a great spot to check out when exploring the area.

Together, this little pond and the longer pond to the north — unsurprisingly called Long Pond — are called the Ferry Beach ponds, due to their proximity to the beach of the same name.

The portion of the Eastern Trail traveling from Kennebunk to Biddeford is pretty much entirely on a dirt double-track trail. The Eastern Trail goes on for miles and is a popular trail for long runs and out-and-backs.

Biddeford main is a scenic town with plenty of history. A popular sightseeing destination is the Pepperell Mill Campus. This mill is bellied up along the river and has taken a recent resurgence. You can get a tour of the mill and its underground lagoon, but many of the buildings are being repurposed into shops and living quarters.
