The church of St. Andreas is located in the Heinrichshofen district of the municipality of Egling an der Paar in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech. It is located on a hill in the center of the village and is the only church in the district dedicated to the Apostle Andrew.  History and architecture The core of the church dates from the late Gothic period. In 1750 the nave was renovated and on July 18, 1751, Auxiliary Bishop Franz Xaver Freiherr von Adelmann consecrated the church. The interior is Rococo in style, with ceiling frescoes showing symbolic depictions from the life of St. Andrew. The pulpit with stucco marble fillings is particularly noteworthy.  Community life St. Andreas is a branch church of the parish of St. Vitus in Egling an der Paar and has around 400 Catholics. The church is part of the Egling parish community in the Landsberg deanery of the Augsburg diocese.  The church of St. Andreas is an important cultural and religious center for the community of Heinrichshofen and the surrounding areas.
