With an elevation of 9,150 feet, Genoa Peak towers over the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and offers stunning views over the landscape like the Desolation Wilderness with Lake Tahoe to the west, the Pine Nuts to the east and the Sierra Nevada to the south. A backcountry road leads close to the peak. The last yards are accessible by taking a single trail.
