These trails parallel each other on opposite sides of the canyon and usually paired for a perfect loop hike. There is little to no shade, so start early or late if hiking in the in the summer, and bring plenty of water. The spring wildflowers are outstanding!

Sparks Marina is an all around family park. The trail is flat and paved so nearly everyone can walk around the lake. You'll also find multiple picnic areas, beaches, and playgrounds. Additionally the water is fed 2-3 million gallons of fresh water daily through an underground aquifer and is safe for swimming, paddle boarding, scuba diving, and fishing.

From here you can take Evans Canyon or the Miner's Trail down. I've done both and they are pretty easy on a mountain bike but will be more challenging on a gravel bike. Great fun either way! Popular with hikers & dog walkers so take care on blind corners.
