Tips from the Community

November 27, 2023, Sparks Marina

Sparks Marina is perfect for runners with its wide, 2 mile path around the lake. In summer you can cool off after your run with a swim as the water is fed 2-3 million gallons of fresh water daily through an underground aquifer. Sunset runs here are epic with the fire red sky contrasting against the mountains all around you.

This is a great little trail to walk when you don't have much time. The creek running through the middle means it's much more lush than the surrounding area, and thus it's possible to spot some interesting wildlife.
