A beautiful sandy beach, pleasantly clean air, excellent water quality, and two spacious lawns make the hearts of all sun worshippers and water lovers beat faster. The Greifenbachstauweiher pond is a popular holiday and recreation center and excursion destination at the foot of the Greifensteine.

The entire village center is now called "Jahnsbach Station." The former Jahnsbach freight depot is presenting a new image. In 2023, the facades and roofs of all three buildings – freight shed, reception hall, and restroom block – were renovated in coordination with the historic preservation authorities. The main building with its multi-purpose room will also receive accessible access with a wheelchair ramp, and the restroom block will have an accessible restroom. A lot will also be done outside. The plan is to relocate the parking spaces at the freight shed. The area adjacent to the building will serve as a recreational and event space. A hedge strip and a privacy screen will shield the area. Seating, an e-bike charging station with bike racks, and supply bollards for events in the open spaces complete the picture, according to the press release. The garden area directly adjacent to the reception hall is intended to be inviting, with three table sets, playground equipment (which is not part of the funding), and a sand play area.
