It features a bunch of dirt, grass, and gravel trails of its own, but it also has a few paved paths and a road running through the middle of the park that are both great for running as well. There are also some open grassy areas if you need somewhere for stretching or strides.

There are a number of ponds on the property, but a small spur trail brings you to this cool viewpoint that is probably the best view in the entire preserve. Even if you blow by the turn for this viewing spot, you'll get more views of the water as you run around the lake.
