Beautiful, but also very busy and well-trodden path along the northern shore of the Obersee.

The lake on both sides, the city and the castle make for a wonderful panorama. You also forget the very busy Seedammstrasse behind you.

The Wasserkirche (Water Church) originally stood on a small island where, according to legend, the city's patron saints Felix and Regula were executed by the Romans. The late Gothic church was completed towards the end of the 15th century and was considered particularly holy. During the Reformation, it was therefore denounced as a "temple of idols." To prevent anyone from being tempted to reintroduce the cult of saints, a warehouse and later the city library were established in the church. Since its renovation in 1942, it has served both religious and cultural purposes. Particularly beautiful are the choir windows by Augusto Giacometti, created in the same year, which juxtapose the life of Christ with the life of a modern man. Small, pretty harbor at the eastern end of the Obersee.

A busy but beautiful route across the dam, partly with a wide cycle path. Unfortunately, the section from Hurden to Pfäffikon on the gravel path is now closed to cyclists (until the first accident happens on the main road).
