The Kapfhäusle is located in Lauterbach in the Black Forest, a municipality in the district of Rottweil in Baden-Württemberg. The farmhouse in the Sulzbachtal is a protected monument. The building served as a Leibgedinghaus, the residence for the former farmers of the Lauterbach Vogtsbauernhof, which burned down in the 1950s.[1] From the Kapfhäusle, used as a mountain hut, the distant pastures of the Vogtsbauernhof were managed during the summer months. The single-roof house has a living area and a utility area. The roof is thatched and is maintained with the help of the Baden-Württemberg Monument Foundation. Drink cellar Directly behind the bee house (Bienen-Häusle) there is a beautiful resting place for thirsty hikers with a beautiful view over the Sulzbachtal valley. In a cool drink cellar, there are beer, sparkling wine, and soft drinks for a small fee. Source: https://wanderhuette-lauterbach.com/
