The most striking war memorial in the Rushmoor Park area in Oberursel is the so-called Ehrenmal, which stands immediately next to the Christuskirche on Oberhöchstadter Straße. This impressive monument was inaugurated on October 12, 1930, and commemorates the 224 citizens of Oberursel who fell in World War I or died as a result of it. The artwork was designed by the Frankfurt sculptor Lina von Schauroth and impresses with its elaborate design as an almost nine-meter-high, round column completely covered with colored glass mosaic stones. The upper part of the mosaic shows a blessing Christ figure, while below soldiers in gray uniforms are depicted. The names of the fallen are on the square base, also made of mosaic stones. Originally, the design was intended for the Frankfurt Frauenfriedenskirche, but it then found its place in Oberursel and has been a listed monument since 2010.

The Zeppelinheim viewpoint is legendary among planespotters and offers one of the best insights into the operations of Frankfurt Airport (FRA). When you stand there, you are right in the middle of the action on the southern runways.

Built in 1911 by Arthur Moll to supply his carnation nursery. Taken over in 1924 by the Sinai large nursery, and after the nursery closed in 1987, owned by Hoechst AG. Since 1988, the water tower has been a listed building. •Listed monument. It was purchased in 1993 for the symbolic sum of one mark by the town of Bad Soden and leased in 1995 to the NABU (Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union), Bad Soden local branch. The NABU restored the tower for ecological use in 1996 and 1997 with the help of sponsors, citizen donations, and a grant from the Main-Taunus district.
