Fantastic place to grab anything from a coffee and pastry in the moring to a pizza and beer in the evening! A hidden gem and local favorite in Blue Diamond right next to the Trek MTB rental store.

Quiet little town just outside Vegas which guards one of the gateways to Red Rock Canyon. It's also the home to a large population of wild burros (donkeys), one of the unofficial symbols of Nevada.

This is a truly amazing view of the immense east face of Mt. Wilson. This trail takes you right up to the foot of this massive peak, giving you a great sense of its scale.

The Pine Creek Canyon trail takes you from the Pine Creek Canyon parking lot to the mouth of the canyon not far from the foot of Mescalito Peak. Although many people choose to treat this trail as an out-and-back, you can complete a short loop that begins and ends near the Wilson Homestead site.

The Middle (North) Oak Creek Trail is accessed outside of the Scenic Loop on Highway 159. The easy trail through the open desert is a great way to access Oak Creek Canyon and the surrounding area without paying the Scenic Loop entry fee or having to make a reservation. You get amazing panoramic views of Oak Creek Canyon, Mt. Wilson, and Rainbow Mountain. Toward the beginning of the trail near the highway you also pass by some large Joshua Trees that escaped a wildfire many years ago.

This is the intersection of Oak Creek Trail with Middle (North) Oak Creek Trail. When leaving Oak Creek Canyon, taking Oak Creek Trail will bring you to the Oak Creek parking area *within* the Scenic Loop. Taking the Middle Oak Creek Trail bring you out to the Middle Oak Creek Trailhead and parking area *outside* of the Scenic Loop on Highway 159. This intersection is poorly marked with two small posts (one of which is sometimes blown down) and a cairn; there are many braided trails here and it can be a little confusing!
