Vranja Cave

Highlight • Cave

Great cave, especially because of the dimensions, it's gigantic 😳! Inside, it gets muddy or loamy relatively quickly.

Here are some useful links:

You can also learn a lot about the cave system here:

Otherwise you will unfortunately not find an overview map or anything about the route.
It's definitely worth going the route.

(Between the two caves - on the way)
Attention ⚠: there are snakes here! Today we had seen an Aesculapian snake (non-poisonous) but also a adder (poisonous). Pay attention a little.

Skednena Cave

Highlight • Cave

The speleo camp was deserted today. No idea what's going on. Far and wide nobody could be seen and there were no campers either

Nevertheless, I am sending the link here because there is some useful information on the site regarding the cave trail.

The mark:
On trees/rocks etc. a red triangle is yellow inside and underneath is often a cave sign (arc with a dot underneath)

Klub Logaških Študentov Tent

Highlight • Rest Area

Thanks to Klub Logaških in študentov for having a party and leaving behind your tent in a super foggy night where I could find an hour of peace to lay down and regain some energy. And good choice to have a petrol station right across the street. Their coffee dispenser isn't that bad.

Cycle Route L034 to Logatec

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

A combination of well mobile gravel roads and mostly narrow asphalt sections, almost no traffic - through beautiful forest sections and romantic small towns. The gradients are not too difficult and the terrain is really well suited for a gravel bike.

Starting points for the cave trail: either drive to the northern end of the village (the path goes in 2 meters before the place-name sign) or you drive in the direction of Spelocamp and try to find a parking space on the way. It won't be easy here or there, because there aren't any. We chose the second option and asked in a carpentry shop if we could park there. Then we walked the other way around. That's it for information, greetings and have fun ✌🙋🏼‍♀️
