The hut is located in a small clearing behind Mestni vrh in the Stojna Mountains. Near the hut is Jelenov studenec, a spring whose water never runs dry. At weekends its can get pretty crowded. I got lucky I came before noon, where there was not so many visitors with cars. There was a lot of cyclist daily visitors, you can hardly find a space where to out your bike close to the sitting spot at the bar. In winter time, the bar is closed and you cant stop for a warm drink.
