Puck Bay is a quieter part of the Baltic Sea, separated from the open sea by the Hel Peninsula, ideal for cyclists looking for scenic routes and contact with nature. The shores of the bay offer numerous bike paths, including the popular Władysławowo–Puck–Rewa section, which runs along the water. The bay is famous for its shallow bottom and rich bird life, as well as conditions for water sports, especially in the areas of Chałupy and Kuźnica. In many places you can stop at piers or observation towers, and the tourist infrastructure is conducive to longer stops. This is an ideal region for recreational trips, combining landscapes, history and nature.

The settlement of seal hunters from the Stone Age, 3 to 2 thousand years BC. It is located at the „Rzucewski Cape”. The hills of the Puck and Swarzewo Hillocks provided shelter for tribesmen of seal hunters already in the Stone Age, who settled there. The late Neolithic Age (2500-1700 BC) was a very important period in the prehistory of our region where the first seal hunters’ settlements appeared at the shores of the contemporary Gulf of Puck. The range of their settlements reached the current villages of Rewa, Mrzezino, Osłonino, Rzucewo and Ostrowo. They have created a strong, original culture, known from characteristic ceramic artefacts, amber products and stone tools. The Rzucewo settlement of seal hunters was discovered in 1894, but the first archeological excavations led by professor Józef Kostrzewski took place in the years 1927-29 only. The excavations were initiated anew in 1984 and are still carried on. Rzucewo became an important research site of the Stone Age in Pomerania, and the term „Rzucewo culture” was adopted in the history of civilisations.
