Hidden deep in the Augustów Forest, an abandoned hermitage lies. It's one of the most attractive spots on the trail. There are no signs on the forest road indicating its existence. I can only suggest that as you continue along the forest road, you'll reach a crossroads. To the left, the road leads to Studzieniczna; straight ahead, you continue your hike and bypass the Rudawka swamp. To the right, a path (a forest road) leads to the hermitage of St. Onuphrius. The only distinguishing feature are the white outlines of trees painted at eye level.

A gravel road, a cruel washboard, unexpectedly frequent cars, but a beautiful forest

The Holy Place can be reached by bike better from the direction of Rączki than from the direction of Janówka (a steep, sandy descent).

Lake Necko is a popular body of water located in Augustów, ideal for cyclists looking for a relaxing break by the water. There are picturesque trails around the lake that connect with the Augustów Forest and other trails, allowing for longer trips in a peaceful, forested environment. On site, you can use the city beach, rent a kayak or water bike, and relax in one of the many pubs on the shore. It is worth taking a padlock with you to secure your bike if you plan to stay by the water for a longer period.

Klonownica (Cicha Rzeka) – a river lying on the border of Augustów and the Nowinka commune in the Podlaskie Voivodeship. Klonownica connects the Necko and Białe Augustowskie lakes. According to various sources, the river is 550 to 800 meters long, which is why it is sometimes called the shortest river in Poland. The northern bank is high, covered with the pine forest of the Augustów Forest, the southern bank is low and marshy. The river lies on the Augustów Canal route. from: Wikipedia
