Tokarnia, a peak at 778 meters above sea level, offers stunning and expansive views of the Bukowskie Foothills and the Bieszczady Mountains. Finally, a forest-free peak. It's beautiful and peaceful here—it's hard to believe that heavy fighting took place here during World War II. It's an open clearing, so the wind can blow tourists away quite hard.

An interesting Greek Catholic cemetery right by the road is worth a look. It turns out that the Main Beskid Trail offers more than just mountains!

DW889 overcomes the ridge separating Bukowsko from Karlikowo, and from the pass there is a vast view worth the effort. The climb from Bukowska is much more difficult than from Karlikowo. This does not mean, however, that it is easier from the Karlikowo side, because to get to Karlikowo from Szczawne or Wysoczany you have to overcome several solid hills, and the patched asphalt limits acceleration on the descents. I do not recommend this route at night. However, the road from Sanok to Bukowska via Markowce and Wolica does not have such steep hills and the surface is better. In case of a sudden change in weather (e.g. downpour, storm), there is no place to hide on the pass - it is a real wilderness.

Nice peak with an exposed clearing. At the top there is a telecommunication transmitter. There is also a bench.

The chapel is an example of the neighbors' concern for the condition and appearance of the sacral building located next to their buildings. When I was taking pictures, it quickly aroused interest and I was asked what I was doing it for. I explained that this was my contribution to the development of the komoot travel portal, which is used to get to know different countries better. The chapel is illuminated after dusk thanks to a photovoltaic installation. The doors are locked, but in the event of a heavy downpour, you can take shelter under the protruding eaves and wait out.

The external appearance of the church does not reveal its inner beauty, only after entering it you can admire the pastel colors of the walls and the vault and appreciate the beauty of the stained glass windows. On the side walls, next to each stained glass window, there are images of saints, including saints associated with Podkarpacie. The interior is aesthetic and not overloaded with excess decorative elements. The church was repainted two years ago, and new stained glass windows have been successively installed over the last 15 years.
