The Janowskie Forest Uroczyska is an area protected under the EU Natura 2000 program. It is an area of special natural values with an area of over 34,000. ha. The Biłgoraj horse refuge in Szklarnia is the only such place on the map of Poland. These are horses descended from wild horses living in Europe.
