The granaries in Grudziądz are a unique complex of medieval grain warehouses built on the Vistula escarpment. Their massive walls served both a defensive function and protected against landslides. From the website kujawsko-pomorskie.pl: Revitalisation of the historic Grudziądz Upper Mill and the establishment of the Energy Mill is a joint initiative of the provincial government and the city government of Grudziądz. The former grain mill, after a major adaptive renovation carried out under the supervision of a conservator, will be transformed into a public space with culture, education and artistic events in mind. The mission of the centre established will be to present and popularise the history and cultural achievements of the city and region, as well as to popularise knowledge of mathematics, nature, technology and the humanities.

Arafia Kasparus was established in 1926. Initially, Holy Masses were celebrated in the rectory building. In 1927, a church was built thanks to contributions from parishioners. Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The construction was supervised by the servant of God, Fr. Antoni Arasmus, the first steward of the parish. Currently, the parish does not have its own parish priest, and the parish priest from Skórcz is the administrator. On the night of December 30/31, 2020, there was a church fire. Almost the entire substance of the building was destroyed. Only the outer walls of the main nave and the presbytery survived. Work is currently underway to rebuild the temple as faithfully as possible to its shape and view before the fire.
