The entire route to Chełmiec is quite accessible, and there's another viewpoint along the way worth checking out. The town of Boguszów-Gorce is very atmospheric, with two observation towers in Dzikowiec.

The highest peak of the Wałbrzych Mountains, with a relatively new observation tower. A fairly easy ascent through the forest and delicious views from the top.

This is an extraordinary place belonging to the so-called inanimate natural monuments: on the mountain (618m above sea level) are romantic ruins of a castle. The stronghold was originally built in the 14th century and rebuilt many times. After World War II, it was abandoned. Apparently, the rocks on which the castle is located are extraordinary - the internet says that it is a non-magmatic autoclastic breccia within a volcanic chimney. I don't know what that means, but it sounds fantastic!
