The tree, also known as the Seven Brothers Linden, originally consisted of two trunks of narrow-leaved lindens fused together, with diameters of 760 and 420 centimeters. The first of the legends says that hetman Stefan Czarniecki rested under it, who ventured here during the Swedish Deluge. The second is that the trunk grew from seven lime trees planted side by side by the brothers, the sons of Wszemir. In 2008, a thicker branch was set on fire and firefighters had to cut it off, and the age of the remaining trunk is estimated at around 150 years.

The old German name of the lake is Klückense. After the war, it was changed to Kluki. The new name was officially introduced by regulation in 1955. In 2006, the Commission on Names of Places and Physiographical Objects confirmed the name of Kluki. Despite this, the local residents have "always" called the lake Klukom. Finally, it was decided to straighten out this matter and from January 1, 2022, the lake is officially called Klukom.
