April 12, 2025, Jeziórko Memorial to the Lost Village

Access by bike is not very good. You can get there by DW from Tarnobrzeg or Stalowa Wola. From Tbg you have to take a road without a hard shoulder, not to mention a bike path. From St. Wola there is an asphalt hard shoulder only on the Grębów bypass. There is a cross and an obelisk dedicated to the non-existent village of Jeziórko. All the residents were evicted so that sulfur could be extracted. At the moment there is neither a village nor a mine. As usual - some were happy because they got apartments in Tbg, and some were not because they miss the place where they lived

The former hunting manor of Count Tarnowski, from the 19th century it was the center of forest management, there were: sawmill, dry wood distillation plants, and peat mounds. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Tarnowski family built a summer hunting lodge here, a stylish wooden palace. At the request of the Tarnowskis, it was made by the Kunefał brothers, carpenters from Alfredówka. Until recently, the building was the seat of the Nowa Dęba Forest District, currently it has no function, it is deserted.
