Central Roztocze Trail - beautiful forests and magnificent monuments
Ancient trees & historic cities – gravel biking in south-eastern Poland
In 1939, there was a mill in Stare Brusno. The water probably cascaded here at first, and then formed a waterfall. An interesting, unusual place. If you're hiking nearby on the blue trail, it's worth detouring and taking a look.

First of all, Stare Brusno (the village) no longer exists. The population was evicted between 1944 and 1947. To this day, the remains of the former cemetery (many of Stare Brusno's residents were stonemasons) and the Orthodox church remain, overgrown with forest, giving them a uniquely historic and mystical character.

The Chapel on the Water, also called the Chapel on the Spring, is a small wooden chapel built in the 1920s. The sources of the Prutnik River are located here, and we can also see the statue of the Mother of God.
