The open mouth of the Hranická abyss falls through steep rock walls to a depth of 69.5 m to a lake, the bottom of which still remains a mystery. The total confirmed depth, including the dry part, as of 2022 is 519.5 meters (dry part 69.5 m + flooded part 450 m), which makes it the deepest flooded abyss in the world. According to estimates, the abyss could reach a depth of between 800 and 1200 m, as indicated by the temperature and chemical composition of the water in the lake. This is also confirmed by other research published in the professional press in 2020. The abyss was created by the collapse of the cave ceiling, which was eroded by aggressive acidic solutions in the limestone from below to the surface.

Gallašův spring is the deepest well in the spa town of Teplice n. Bečvou (143 m). Because it apparently lies outside the tectonic fault, its yield is only 1.5 l/s. It is named after the Hranice native Dr. Josef Heřman Agapita Gallaš (1756 - 1840), a doctor, writer, painter and revivalist.

On the banks of the Bečva River lies a place for excursions and walks - Lázně Teplice nad Bečvou. In addition to the surrounding nature of the spa, visitors are also attracted by a tour of the Zbrašovské Caves, as well as the deepest flooded freshwater cave in the world - the Hranická Abyss. Also striking is the round gazebo with a marble drinking fountain at the Galašov Spring, which can be found in the middle of the spa area, a short distance below the Slovenka spa house. You cannot cross it and not taste the local warm mineral water. The Galašov Spring is one of three local springs that supply spa guests with Teplice mineral water. It is tempting to taste it and sit and relax on the benches in the gazebo.

Helfštýn Castle was founded at the beginning of the fourteenth century. Its significant expansion occurred at the turn of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries at the latest, when it belonged to the lords of Kravaře. Another extensive late Gothic reconstruction was carried out by the Pernštejns from the last quarter of the fifteenth century. The last family to reside in the castle were the Bruntál family of Vrbno, under whom a large Renaissance palace was completed. At the beginning of the Thirty Years' War, the castle was briefly occupied by the estates' army, but later it was home to an imperial garrison that withstood two sieges. In later times, the castle was used only for military purposes and fell into disrepair from the second half of the eighteenth century. In the mid-nineteenth century, the first modifications were carried out, the aim of which was to make the ruins accessible to visitors and organize cultural events. Monument renovations from the second half of the twentieth century disrupted the historical appearance and adapted the ruin for the needs of the annual meeting of artistic blacksmiths Hefaiston. The Helfštýn castellan is Jan Lauro

At the Na hrázi pond in Kojetín between Vyškov and Kroměříž, your children can enjoy the pirate life at least for a while. This is because there is a pirate playground with a multi-functional pirate ship split into several parts.
