Small old chapel. Most of the time closed, but very quiet and calm place to take a break and have a snack at the nearby table.

Very good bicycle road. No lights, so bring your own. Watch out for pedestrians walking their dogs.

On the slope of Medvednica, called Veliki Plazur, at an altitude of 864 m, is the Gothic chapel of St. Jacob or St. Jacob, which once belonged to Šestine, and is now cared for by the Xavier parish. St. Jacob, as the locals call him, has been a pilgrimage destination for decades for the people of Gračanica and Zagorje. In written sources, the chapel of St. Jacob is mentioned in 1746 as a small wooden chapel. It was probably built by miners from the nearby Zrinski mine. Thanks to Baron Kulmer, a new brick chapel was built in 1847, and the chapel was thoroughly renovated in 1935 according to the project of architect Juraj Denzler. Elements of Satu-Croatian ornamentation were used in the interior decoration, so the chapel is distinguished by its cultural-historical, architectural and architectural-typological values and is officially protected as a cultural asset (Z-2387). The chapel is easy to reach because it is located next to the Sljeme road, which is used by cars and buses. Behind the chapel is a rest area with benches, offering a beautiful view of the city of Zagreb and part of Posavina. From this rest area, an unmarked steep forest path descends towards the Sljeme road and further towards hiking trail 12.
