Konoba Kiss Waterfront Restaurant

Highlight • Restaurant

Very beautiful bay with a fantastically located tavern right on the water.
The food in the Konoba Kiss is highly recommended and at moderate prices. The service is very good and friendly, everything is very clean overall and the view is simply fantastic. The trip here is definitely worth it and easily doable by MTB (or boat). In theory, by car too, but a bit adventurous...

St. Luke's Church

Highlight • Religious Site

Presumably built in early Christian times, it was first mentioned in 1289 and later in 1395 and 1456. Its medieval features disappeared during renovation in 1737. Then it was re-consecrated on June 27 by Zadar Archbishop Vicko Zmajevic. In 1870, a bell tower with three bells was erected on a base in front of the facade, which were destroyed by German soldiers during the Second World War. The current stone bell tower above the entrance was built on October 1, 1947 with the help of parishioners and the efforts of Pastor Eugen Kontić. New renovations and interventions were made to the church in 1958 and 1997.

Mediterranean Route 8: Preko–Tkon Alternative

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

EuroVeloroute 8 is very busy on the mainland between Zadar and Biograd and has hardly any bike paths. The light traffic on the island between Preko and Tkon offers a great alternative with stunning views and two ferry rides: Biograd - Tkon and Zadar - Preko 🚲🚢🤩

Pašman Harbor

Highlight • Structure

Very unspectacular, the town of Pashman also offers relatively little. Since it bears the name of the island, I expected more...

Steep Ramp to Bakolj Hill

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

It's really very steep and quite long. Since the path was concreted, you can also drive up (if you have enough breath) Before that it was so washed out that even coming down without a fall was a highlight. :-)

Pašman Gravel Coastal Panorama

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Go at sunset and wear correct tires on bike if you want to pump it. Otherwise ... nevermind. Also for running don't take your squishy road shoes, you will be happier.

Tip by

Here we continue in 4 directions. In the direction of the island of Ugljan, I recommend not taking the main trail straight but to the left, as uphill after Veliki Bokolj the trail becomes a hiking trail.

Konoba Kiss is beautifully situated in a secluded bay on the island of Psman. We enjoyed a delicious fish menu for €25 per person (starter: Croatian ham and cheese, toasted white bread with garlic in olive oil, mixed salad, main course: grilled sea bream with boiled potatoes, and dessert: two pancakes). 😋🤩 The view of the sea from the shaded seating right by the water is simply priceless...

Veliki Bokolj is the highest peak on the island of Pašman. A circular wall has been erected on the top, reminiscent of the remains of a ruined fortress, and serves as a simple lookout. You can sit on the wall. A branch of the fire road that runs along the ridge of the island ends at the top. Next to the lookout at the top are the remains of a ruined house.
