To get to the Zrmanja Plateau, follow the road from Starigrad-Paklenica in the direction of Obrovac. The journey along road no. 54 coming from the coast is relatively easy. After the village of Jasenica, however, a small turnoff to the right leads onto a rather inconspicuous gravel road. (Tip: The road in question can be found between power poles 86 and 87.) However, the bumpy gravel road is marked with a sign saying “Parizevacka glavica”. From there, it is only 500 meters to the viewing plateau.

A very well-known mountain for Winnetou fans, as it is the filming location for some very well-known scenes. For hikers, it is simply a strikingly beautiful mountain.

If you are lucky enough to have sunny weather, the blue-green color really comes out well. In mid-October, you should go there in the morning if possible because of the sunshine (better pictures).

From the main road to/from Obrovac, a small sign saying "Winnetou" points to a 900 m long gravel road that leads to the car park. However, we hiked from the small parking bay directly on the main road and were able to admire juniper, wild sage and rosemary bushes.
