Jelenska Cave

Highlight (Segment) • Cave

High cliffs (Jelenske pećine) and stone pillars protrude from the ridge here and there, giving the steep mountain an alpine look. The mountain has distinct features of high mountains - a steep slope and deeply cut ravines and gorges that lead to its base in several branches.

This modern museum provides a very insightful insight into the possible developments from ape-like to human. The 3D animations of bones and how they fit together are impressive. The timeline from 13 billion years ago to the present with all possible evolutionary probabilities is also very well illustrated. A truly valuable museum.

Krapina Old Town

Highlight • Castle

Stari grad KrapinaStari grad Krapina

Postojeću školsku zgradu podiglo je građanstvo hrvatskog slobodnog trgovišta Krapina 1911. godine, velikom zaslugom Vilibalda Sluge, načelnika kraljevskog slobodnog i poveljnog trgovišta Krapina.

U Matičnoj školi u Krapini imamo 463 učenika u 20 razrednih odjela I.-VIII. razreda. U Područnoj školi Šemnica Donja imamo 55 učenika u 6 razrednih odjela I.-VIII. razreda, a u Područnoj školi Lepajci 56 učenika u 4 razredna odjela I.-IV. razreda.

U školi je zaposleno ukupno 59 djelatnika:

Ravnateljica škole: Dragica Belošević

Zamjenica ravnateljice: Miljenka Hršak

Voditelj PŠ Šemnica D.: Štefica Tušek

Voditelj PŠ Lepajci: Katarina Barlović

Tajnica: Nevenka Krsnik
