This bike lane is pretty bad, it's very narrow and mostly in the Dooring Zone of parked cars! This can be very dangerous!

A good cycle path, one of the few in this part of Havelland.

You can get across, but it's officially only for Autobahn employees 🤔

From the bridge at Frohnau S-Bahn station, the beginning of the single-track section to Hohen Neuendorf is clearly visible, looking north. To the right is a stabling facility for two S-Bahn trains. The project is investigating not only a second S-Bahn track but also a possible expansion of stabling capacity. This is necessary to accommodate the additional trains needed at night for the planned frequency increases (including a 10-minute frequency to Oranienburg). Numerous other measures are planned for the S-Bahn network in the i2030 project. These include, for example, new line construction, additional double-track expansion sections, and the construction of new stations. A comprehensive overview is available at: https://www.i2030.de/.

The cycle path here is top-notch: some distance from the road, good surface and good route.
