I have to disagree with @Anneli Borrmann here. The Wupatz educational trail runs behind the Leistikowsteg to the southwest and back towards Erkner. But of course it is beautiful here too and certainly interesting for children.

The Wupatzsee is always worth a trip, especially with school-age children. The Wupatz nature trail teaches children and parents a lot of interesting facts about the animals and plants that live there. But be careful, in some places, especially at the edge of the Wupatzsee, it is slippery and muddy.

Beautiful little natural lake. Unfortunately, it's not easy to get to the water. It's quite boggy and overgrown all around.

In this part of the Löcknitztal there are several pastures where sheep are kept as landscape stewards. The pastures are accessible and the hiking trail leads across the pastures. Please always close the gates at both ends!!
