Quite small loop for running, can either include on a larger route or use it for laps. Can get busy with dog walkers.

Townhill Country Park is made up of the Town Loch, Townhill Woods & the Town Park. There are miles of fun running trails around this area including this section of disused railway line. It's a multi user trail so do watch out for bikes and walkers but it's well surfaced and good for racking up some miles or enjoying a peaceful and low stress pretty run.

The Town Loch is part of Townhill country park on the outskirts of Dunfermline. The loch is used for water sports and has a popular multiuser trail around the edge, great for a run. You can extend your route north into Townhill Country Park or east into Townhill Woods if you fancy a longer run.

The cycle/walking track that runs from Queen Margaret hospital to Townhill loch is a great way to avoid traffic but sections do suffer from flooding.

Good traffic free path to here. No cafe.

For the swirly I do the standard ride around the track to the top, but on the way down I take the worn path directly down the West side for a bit of fun! Was less fun in the snow.

The lake is gated off so it will be tricky for most disabled cyclists to get in.
