On a quiet day, with no-one else around, it's smiles all the way down to the car park. Please be aware that it is a shared trail and is ridden/walked in both directions. There is a parking meter to accept your cash to help maintain the Golspie Wildcat Trails at the bottom end of this section, just in case you didn't see the other ones at the main car park in Golspie and at Rhives. So take a few pound coins for the meter otherwise these trails will go the way of others in the highlands - i.e. be lost.

Indeed it is. On a clear day with blue skies, it's hard to beat.

It is said that this is the longest manufactured downhill trail in the UK. You can either drop in from here or sit and wave bye-bye to your mates as they head towards their doom from the shelter, then ride back down the track!!

The estuary of the River Fleet is a haven for wading birds, ducks and Geese. There is a pleasant walk to a bird hide.

There are a couple of choices of route up, both finish with a bit of a grind, but it really is worth the effort.
