The historic Bridge of Orchy bridge was built in 1751 under Major Caulfeild as part of the military road network after the Jacobite uprisings. With a distinctive stone arch, it crosses the rushing River Orchy. Hikers on the West Highland Way cross it just behind the hotel to begin the ascent to Màm Carraigh hill.

Stayed there for one night on my West Highland Way. Everything was great. The evening meal and breakfast in the morning were also good. Including a vegetarian burger.

Narrow tunnel in a rough area - not made for bicycles - rather made for hikers. You have to push the bike through the tunnel - on one side of the tunnel it is easy to cycle and on the other side of the tunnel the path is steep, full of small rocks.
