You might need to hunt for a view around as in trees can obscure the view - but nonetheless, the view is there: of the Langdale Valey towards Fylingdales Moor. There is a bench next to the car park here, so you can rest your bike (and yourself) and enjoy this area for a few minutes before pressing on.
