The square was previously planned by Mr. Karl Willi SCHWARZ, while the artistic design of the fountain was carried out by Mr. Gerald WINTER. The fountain motif depicts an open hand holding a round bowl in the palm from which water bubbles. The outer side of the wrist contains a reference to the Gospel of John: John 4:14.
