Route 8 comes into Builth Wells through a lovely park along the river. The Asda Express at the petrol station, visible from Route 8, is also a useful place to pick up supplies.

Delightful waterfall that is well worth the detour off the A44 near New Radnor. The track is a bit rough and bumpy to the small car park, and it is a short walk from there. Definitely worth visiting after prolonged rain, it can completely dry up in summer.

We rode this on the record breaking hottest May day ever, after a dry spell. Even so, there were a couple of deep muddy wet sections, which in these conditions just made it fun. It was a fantastic fun ride but I can see it really would be hard going in the wet. The. views are fabulous so definitely a route to enjoy.
