I passed by there on my tour: https://www.komoot.com/de-de/tour/2450927699 There's a photo there showing several wind turbines that were newly built during that time.

I occasionally drive through this area. In this case, on my tour: https://www.komoot.com/de-de/tour/2450927699 The photos I've attached show the sheep. At that time, bluetongue disease was rampant. And a covered rest area. It was new at the time.

Today, in fantastic autumn weather, I was able to watch a pilot in action. It was great, I've always wanted to see that! 😊 The job wouldn't be for me, though; just watching made me dizzy. 🫣 It was another great bike ride to Stadersand. 💙

A great cycling route leads to Stadersand. Today we had a wonderful break in Stadersand ⚓ with friendly people and good conversation. The new rest areas invite you to linger and are all well attended. The Elbblick restaurant offers delicious food, cakes, and pies. The ferry dock has been out of service for some time and is due for repairs. It is scheduled to reopen in 2026 if everything is completed on time. A visit is highly recommended 👍.
