I love this trail – especially at sunrise… but actually even more so just before sunset. Then, golden light hangs over the vines, and the view of the Haardt mountain range is simply magical. It's a short stretch, but full of atmosphere. Ideal for catching your breath, stretching your legs, and recharging your batteries before tackling one of the bigger climbs. For me, it's a little haven of peace on many long tours. And a pleasure every time!

Behind the stone is a bench that wraps around the tree, and nearby are some almond trees, which are beautiful during the blossoming season. From here, you can already see the vineyards and Hambach Castle. The wine shop mentioned by Tina must be very popular, because by early Friday afternoon, its parking lot was full and all the seats in the sun were taken.
