A great suspension bridge with a dedicated cycle lane. The views in both directions are magnificent too.

I recommend the Strand Camping site a few meters away, right next to River Camping. It's a bit more spacious and the owners are very friendly. You can walk through the bush down to the river.

Great walk from the Arctic Cathedral to Alta Museum.

This beach is located east of Alta Lufthavn. Since the parking lot and the beach are very busy in summer, you should continue to the meadow east of the beach. Here is a large meadow with picnic benches and tables. There is a dry toilet on the beach. A snack bar was closed when I visited.

Nice little campsite by the river. It also has heated cabins. Be careful, there are two campsites, this one is at the end of the road when you come from Alta. I found this place quieter and nicer.
