Reindalseter is something of a hub where the Tafjordfjella hiking network is concerned. This charming complex has a cafe, electricity, drying rooms and the opportunity to take a hot shower. With its ancient pines and vibrant wildlife, Reindalen itself is a delight; the hike to Zakariasvatnet and the roaring Reindalsfossen is particularly beautiful. Meanwhile, the cabin is the ideal base for summit hikes to Naushornet and Svartegga.

Gudbrandsjuvet is a 5 meter wide and 20-25 meter deep gorge carved by the Valldøla river. It is easily accessible on national road 63 between Valldal and Trollstigen and can be visited on secured paths and from a footbridge. The water here formed a system of deep glacial mills and bizarre formations. The gorge is about as deep below the water surface as above. (See visitnorway.de)

The Reindalsfossen is quite a powerful waterfall, but it is difficult to observe it in its entirety. The hiking trail is only in sight of the upper part of the fall.
