We drove it for two days in a row because it is indescribably beautiful. It is deservedly considered the most beautiful drive in the world and was named Norway's 🇳🇴 building of the century. You drive over eight bridges and unique coastal scenery.

This short coastal path brings you back into some of the real beauty of Norway. It was not crowded at all at the end of May and therefore bikable on compacted gravel with some short rock crossings. Getting off the busy road at peak season for a picnic could be a very good option. Hågå, the marble sculptures, is art and looks a bit like rubbish from a distant view. You either like it or you don't.
