Beautiful place with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the rest area has been dismantled. There's only a sign left saying that the benches were removed due to vandalism☹️ I hope they'll put some places to rest there again... what a shame and a real bummer. But I also found trash right next to it again...

Coming from the Schlossberg, it is possible to join the Jägerweg, which leads from here in both directions for kilometres as a mostly flat, very beautiful hiking trail through the Schönbuch Nature Park.
