Below Åsbobacken, next to the campsite, is the Åsbo Disc Golf Course, operated by Falu DGK. The course, which winds through fields, parks, and forests, was built in 2011 and has 18 holes. The course is maintained weekly, and playing is free. From Falun, we cycled to Sundborn. The road climbed only on paved roads (Lugnet) and descended hilly to Sundborn. There was a bit of loose gravel on the road. We saw very few cars along the way. It was a beautiful route with close proximity to nature.

Runn Runt, always follow the red signs with 200 Runn Runt. The loop around Runn Runt is well-marked. You can expect beautiful views of Runn, two cafes, about 460 meters of elevation gain, and all kinds of paved surfaces, but mostly asphalt. The beautiful Vika Kyrka is worth a visit. Have fun 😉.

This is an old hut site in the southern bay of Lake Varpan. The old country road leads here to the northern part of Darlana. The stone bridge with its arches dates from the 18th century.

In this village, raw copper was mined from the copper ore between the 15th and mid-19th centuries. The slag heaps lying here on the small hill bear witness to Österä's history. High up on the slag heap is the pavilion, the so-called "Caschetten." From the hill, you have a beautiful view of the Varpan.
