The hut is large, well maintained and invites you to linger, as it offers good protection from the wind and is also just the thing after the strenuous stretch from Sälen. I cooked an early dinner here in peace and refined it with a few ingredients that a trail angel must have left behind. Someone even left whole trekking meals and oil here. 🙏

A refuge at the top! Perfect view in all directions. Officially, sleeping in this type of shelter is only allowed in emergencies. There is no water near the hut. In winter there is a scooter parking lot nearby.
