It was a castle of the Queen, which was destroyed by the Turks. It was reconstructed in 2005-2006, including the wooden observation tower and the Castle Well, which are worth highlighting (Photos attached). The view of the surroundings is impressive, especially towards the Kevélyek. It is definitely worth a visit, and you can visit the castle for an entrance ticket. The castle is easily accessible, and the surroundings are also nicely developed.

It was the Parish Church of the former Gercse village, which dates back to the Árpád era. It is in good condition, masses are also held in it. The first written record mentions it in 1212. Surrounded by shady trees and a cozy wooden bench, no one would think that we are in Budapest (on the edge).

Opposite the Solymári gas station, you have to turn off the sidewalk into the forest at the last corner house and follow the long winding road next to the Solymári waterfall to reach this junction. From here, further hiking options open up, both by bike and on foot.

The place is located on the right hand side of the Shell gas station when you enter the settlement of Solymár (from Buda). If you arrive by car, park next to the well or continue towards the houses of Solymár by the road, and then you can approach it on foot or by bike. Beautiful, picturesque environment for both bike and walking tours
