very scenic bridge: truly beautiful

The Partisan Hill (Wzgórze Partyzantów) in Wrocław is a small but very charming viewpoint in the middle of the city. It's particularly beautiful in the late afternoon when the light falls over the Old Town roofs. My tip: Climb the old stairs from the city center and take a moment at the top to enjoy the view towards the Opera and the Old Town. Right next to it, you'll also find the reconstructed pavilion – a good spot for a short break or a photo without large crowds (especially in the morning or during the week).

An impressive structure. It is 112.5 meters long, 18 meters wide, and weighs 2,300 tons. The bridge was built of Silesian granite and opened on October 10, 1910, in the presence of Kaiser Wilhelm II.

It once was a baroque manor house. Not much of it remains today. Accessible, but inhabited.
