During this tour, it becomes clear once again why the cycling routes in Holland are generally considered to be (among) the best. Apart from the cycling routes, this area is extremely densely forested, making it easy to cycle even in strong sunshine and high temperatures (as was the case during our trip).

It is wonderful to cycle along the Dinkel on the Lagapad. And then there is this beautiful bridge in the landscape and we also liked the interesting Dinkel stones 🤩👍

The Lagapad between Losser and Gronau is an excellent cycle path along the unspoilt Dinkel. Riding along a partially raised cycle path made of wooden planks, you can enjoy the beautiful Dinkel landscape.

The Dinkel from Eper outdoor pool - Schepers mill along the Dinkel through the Gronau city park - outdoor pool then through the inner city Laga area. Then towards Holland to Losser. Here the typical Dutch fries and frikandel with onions or a herring and then over the Bardel (Bardel monastery) and Rünbergervenn back to the Drilandsee (Cafe Seeblick) and then back to Epe. Total tour approx. 35 - 40 km.
