This former farmhouse, dating back to the first half of the 19th century, now houses a shop and bakery. The Bril family has lived and baked bread in this building since at least 1852. The bakery has been passed down from generation to generation. In the two-century-old, historic building of the Bril bakery, bread is baked daily using traditional methods. Baker Bril is a household name in the region, perhaps even the entire country. Anyone who has been there and smelled the aroma of freshly baked speculaas cookies or currant bread in the oven will always return. The sixth generation of the Bril family is now baking here. The first generation baked bread in ovens fired with brushwood and wood, knowing by feel whether the oven was hot enough and delivering orders with a cart. The current generation uses modern ovens, but the bakery remains cozy and accessible from the shop. And when there's no baking going on, there's always time for a chat. As it was in the past, so it is today: traditional baking, the Bril way. Come and try it! At home, or with a cup of coffee in the coffee and tea room. This baker makes the most delicious pastries, which can be enjoyed on the terrace with a cup of coffee.

A lovely nature camping site. Small-scale, neat, friendly owner and equipped with all conveniences. We stayed there with our bikes for a night in a hikers' cabin. The stove kept us nice and warm in the evening and wood was readily available, as well as many local delicacies from the fridge, of course for a fee. The weather was lovely, but there was also a shared indoor area with benches where you can take shelter if necessary. I could keep talking, but above all just a very positive experience.
