Beautiful view from the wooden tower. The stone with the directions of the surrounding places still dates from before the tower. The paths to the north are closed for wildlife protection.

Majuba estate, the Haelberg, a beautiful viewpoint. A few steps up, and you can see stunning autumn-colored trees and heather still in bloom.

Praubstraat 23-25 In her will, Anna van Haerst stipulated that upon her death, a hospice should be established for women of the serving class. It was to be named after her husband, Emmanuel. When she died in 1639, nine women were housed in this building. This number grew to 23 when the adjacent property at Praubstraat 21 was purchased in 1882. By the end of the last century, the buildings were no longer suitable for modern elderly care. The sandstone gate was only added to the building at the end of the 20th century. This gate came from the demolished Reformed Orphanage on Bitterstraat. Two orphans are depicted on this gate.

Great 360 Panorama from this 'Mountain'! I spent 10 minutes picking up trash here, stuck in the Heather around. Please clean up after yourself so everyone can enjoy the spot :)
